CHRISTOPHER LAMBERT
Biography:
Christophe Guy Dénis Lambert was born March 29, 1957 in Manhasset, NY, USA. He spent the forst 2 years of his life in Great Neck, then moved away. His parents travelled a lot and Christopher was educated at private boarding schools in Geneva. His acting bug was probably triggered by a school play in which he participated at the age of 12. Lambert's parents thought that acting was an unsafe profession and at their insistence he took some other jobs but none of them was satisfying enough.
After some time Chris was accepted as a theater student at the Paris Conservatoire. He got his first leading role in 'Greystoke, The Legend Of Tarzan, Lord Of The Apes'. Although the role of Connor MacLeod in 'The Highlander' movies gave Chris world wide fame, it was also a trap. After that Lambert didn't get many interesting propositions and was hired only for action/adventure movies, some of them were produced by him. Lambert's potential is blocked by his choice of repertoire.
